I literally love reading these type of posts on other people’s blogs. I think it’s because I’m seriously nosy! That’s why I love Instagram so much; I just love seeing what other people are doing, what they’re buying, what they’re wearing, where they’re going! So I thought I would do the 50 facts about me tag!
- I will be turning 25 on 28th December.
- I hate bath bombs. I’m probably the only person in the world but I just don’t get them? You can’t wash your hair in the bath and they make the sides of the bath a horrible colour when you get out.
- I am a huge Evertonian.
- I studied English at university and now I work in finance. The irony.
- I am such a homebird.
- I have a severe phobia of tortoises (even my psychology teacher laughed during a lesson on phobias)

- My nicknames are; Em, Ems, Ma Bubz, Emmypopperina, Sykesy, Emzie.

- My hair is naturally curly and I never blow dry it or straighten in the week.
- I don’t have any tattoos.
- I work in Finance for the NHS.
- When I was 18 my Facebook page read as follows; Emma Sykes is in a relationship with Daniel Manchester, Studies at Manchester Met, works at Manchester United & lives in Manchester. Kinda love Manchester.
- I was such a chav in high school. Velour track suits, hoop earrings, Lacoste trainers!
- I am really hard to buy presents for. Danny gets so stressed out at Christmas. The poor boy has to get my birthday presents too.

- My favourite colour is grey (p.s. that’s when you know you’re a grown up when your favourite colour is no longer pink)
- I love buying presents!! But I can kind of turn into a mad woman! I’ve spent over £500 just on Danny this year as I just couldn’t control myself! I’m blaming it on being our first Christmas as a married couple.
- Danny and I have been together since we were 18.
- We became obsessed with the show criminal minds and would stay up every night till about 2am watching it until we had to stop because we thought everyone was a murderer.
- I am the crazy stressy wife and Danny is the calm and chilled husband, we seriously balance one another out.
- I love marmite.
- When we went to V Fest for my hen do we started saying fleek as a joke, everything was fleeky. Now it’s legit part of my vocab and I say it all the time. My dad told me I looked on fleek as we were walking down the stairs on my wedding day.

I tag everyone who is reading this and has a blog to do the 50 facts about me tag! (see if you find it as difficult as I did!)
Em, xo
I’ve only ever known one other person to take roaccutane so I’m sure you suffered the same problems with me, especially having to do a pregnancy test everytime before they gave me my tablets! Cant pee under pressure haha! Love reading your blog 🙂 xx
They always did my pregnancy tests through my bloods so I didn’t have to pee! Haha but yeah it was a pretty hard 9 months! So worth it though! It’s a scary drug, it took me months and months before I decided to go on it! Xxx
Ah I wish they’d done mine that way! Yeah it was but I think it was totally worth it. My acne had been bad for years so I was ready to try anything by that point!
The only downside is I always have chapped lips now! Xx
I love reading your blog and LOVE the idea of sharing 50 things about yourself! I got married in September and planning our wedding was the most rewarding experience for me too – especially as my new husband is so laid back and calming about everything! Thank you for sharing your journey 🙂 xx
