I’ll admit motherhood has changed me in more ways than one but the one thing that still continues to shock me is my new found love for organisation. I think most women will read this and think ‘what the hell!?’ because you were all super organised sassy independent women before you had children; however I wasn’t. I was messy, disorganised and kind of lazy! But since having Evie my obsession for being organised knows no bounds. So when Tesco came to me and asked if I wanted to join their campaign to help raise awareness of the upcoming baby event I, of course, said hell yeaaahhh! Baby event’s are my jam. If you love a bargain and love to be organised then this is where you need to be! Last year at the Tesco baby event I have no shame in admitting I came out with 60 packets of Johnson’s baby wipes (at a bargain price of course) and I couldn’t have been happier (I even insta-storied the occasion because you know how much I love to share a bargain on instagram!) It might sound a bit crazy to be buzzing over baby wipes but raising a child is not cheap; especially after Christmas. I think we all try our hardest to tighten the purse strings in January so by finding the products that you know and love at a cheaper price it really does help us to be able to manage our money a little better. Or if you’re anything like me it also means you then have a little extra money to spend on baby clothes (or at least that’s how I justify coming home from Tesco with 3 outfits and a pair of shoes when I only went in for milk).
So I will still stop rambling on give you all the details you need to know;
When is it?
The baby event will run from Thursday 11th – Monday 29th January so try and hold out until the 11th Jan before stocking up on all your essential baby items to really make the most of saving the pennies this January. But don’t worry, this will run for over 2 weeks so there’s plenty of time to benefit from and make the most of all the offers.
Where is it?
The event will run in-store and online so if you can’t make it to your nearest Tesco store you don’t have to miss out. Tesco’s online baby zone makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for by comparing the best offers and grouping everything together by either brand or item.
What can you expect at the event?
There will be huge savings and offers on everyone’s favourite brands such as Pampers, Huggies, Johnson & Johnson, Tommee Tippee just to name a few!
- Things I would recommend you to keep an eye out for during the Tesco baby event are the Johnson’s baby wipe multi packs. I am quite picky when it comes to baby wipes (who knew there was such a thing) and the Johnsons’ extra sensitive wipes are a firm favourite of mine. I only ever buy them when they’re on offer so I tend to bulk buy them (hence why I was 60 packs deep last year) but these will definitely be on my list, you can click here and it will take you straight to the other.
- Then there is Tesco’s own brand nappies which are always a really low price and honestly the best nappies we have ever used. We haven’t had a single leak or poo explosion (so delightful I know) when using these nappies and I cannot recommend them enough. We’ve tried so many brands and these have always come out on top!
- Another brand we have repurchased again and again is Tommee Tippee. From the Perfect Prep machine to bibs to cutlery to cups there are so many items of theirs we have used since Evie was born. I’ll be keeping an eye out for any offers on sippy cups (as we must lose one every single week) and also grown up cutlery now Evie is getting the hang of feeding herself with a spoon!
- A recently new discovery for me is the Little Dish ready meals. Wherever possible I always try and cook from scratch for Evie as she will mostly eat whatever we have for dinner but there are certain times when I need something quick and convenient for her. So I like to stock up on a few of these so I don’t get caught out when we’re in a rush or been out all day and have nothing planned for dinner.
So they are just a few of my top picks that we love and have continued to repurchase from Tesco and that I would recommend to any other Mums or Mums to be. I’m always on the look out to see what others are using and what they find works best for them and their baby. I hope you’ve found this blog post helpful and most importantly it saves you a lot of money!!
