I’ll hold my hands up and confess I’m pretty partial to a floral wall. I don’t know what it is or why (yes I do, it’s the Instagram addict within me) but a vast array of fake flowers excites me no end. You don’t really see it much in the North West, in the way that it’s done in London . . until now that is. The Florist is brand new in Liverpool and Danny and I visited the launch on Sunday. First of all the building itself it absolutely stunning but it’s set off by the most incredible floral displays everywhere you turn. I’m going to sound like a broken record but it really is an Instgrammers dream!
It’s not just the decor that you’d want to visit for; the food was amazing too! Considering this was the day before they opened to the public usually you’d expect some teething problems but I cannot fault the food at all, it was delicious! We both went for the rotisserie chicken roast and had sides of creamy cauliflower cheese topped with crispy onions and the carrot and swede mash all washed down with Sauvignon. They have an extensive wine, beer and cocktail menu so even if you go for just drinks you won’t be disappointed.
As you can see it has been impeccably decorated and the attention to detail is stunning. I have no doubt it will quickly become one of the busiest hotspots in Liverpool. It really is a beautiful venue which you will want to visit time and time again. It’s rare that me and Danny do anything just the two of us and I know we need to make more of an effort when it comes to ‘date night’ but we will definitely be returning here and making a night of it in the not so distance future.
