I don’t know why we all started calling it the drugstore because we’re not American. But ‘Superdrug/Boots Beauty Haul’ doesn’t quite have the same ring to it does it? If you’ve followed me for a while you will know I’m a huge fan of drugstore make up. Yes I bloody love a bargain but also the standard of the make up being sold in Boots and Superdrug is just getting better and better. As much as I am a huge make up lover I can no longer bring myself to spend in excess of £30 on a foundation so when you find something that costs a fraction of the price but still delivers on quality then that is what I’m alllllll about!
Superdrug had 3 for 2 across all their make up so as it was payday I took advantage of the offer and made some trusty repurchases to restock my make up bag but also picked up some new bits I had been desperate to try! The Collection bronzer is one of my firm favourites, it’s only £2.99 and I honestly wouldn’t stray to anything else! If you could see my old pan which literally doesn’t have a scrap of bronzer left in it then you’d know just how much I love it!
I’ve recently switched to this Revolution concealer and I can’t sing it praises enough! It’s amazing coverage, doesn’t crease, it’s really creamy and the doe foot applicator is huge so you only need one or two swipes and then eye bags be GONE. So when I went to repurchase this I bought three as I literally don’t want to run out of it ever again!
That then led me on to the Revolution stick foundation which I’ve heard amazing things about so wanted to give it a whirl. I bought it in two colours as I had no idea what colour to pick because I was buying online so I just googled the swatches and picked two colours which I thought I could mix together should I need to! After reading the reviews it sounded like it can be quite creamy and need setting so I also picked up the Revolution Lace powder! As I said before I haven’t used either of these before I’m just going off recommendations and reviews so once I’ve used them for a while I might report back how I got on with the on IGTV as it would take a lot for me to swap out my Bourjois healthy mix foundation!
And last but not least how could I leave this palette!? I had it sat in my basket for about 4 days because I was umming and ahhing over it until I was like for god sakes Emma man it’s 10 blood pounds, BUY THE PALETTE. So I bought the palette. The colours look insane and exactly what I would pick for the Aumtum/Winter. Yet again I’d heard so many amazing things about the @sophdoesnails collaboration with Revolution so I’m pretty excited to use this . . I mean just look at those colours!!! And did I mention it costs 10 British pounds!!
Like I said I picked up all these bits from Superdrug online which I’ve linked below if you want to check them out for yourself.
